Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM)

Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables the doctor to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.

 

NIMMO® Technique

Developed by Dr. Ramond Nimmo, NIMMO® technique is used to interrupt the body’s protective impulses; allowing muscles to relax, thus restoring normal joint function. Through specific application of pressure on trigger points one by one, the network of pain-causing trigger points is resolved and muscles are allowed to relax. This creates relief from pain and prevents future injury.
